Essex Community Church is a fellowship of Christians whose purpose is to demonstrate the love and truth of God as revealed through Jesus Christ, so that what we believe will be evident by the way we live and serve, and that through us others will come to know God’s love.
Rev. Dr. Kenneth Parker
In September 2020, Rev. Dr. Kenneth Parker joined our congregation as its new temporary intern pastor. Ordained for 55 years, Pastor Ken has served several churches throughout his tenure. Evan after retiring from the Peru Community Church in 2003, he continued to lead worship services at various churches, both long- and short-term. We welcome him and his lifetime of experiences and knowledge to our community.
